Important Notice

You must understand that opening your TiVo is potentially dangerous. High voltages are present inside the TiVo and you can be hurt if you open the case. You must also understand that it will void your TiVo warranty by merely opening the TiVo. Don't even touch those Torx screws unless you fully understand this and are prepared to write off the TiVo if something goes wrong. The assembled TurboNET cards are fully tested to insure that they are in working condition when dispatched.

The use of the TurboNET Board is experimental and may not work with all TiVos and may not work in the future. As with any modifications, you can damage your TiVo or other components including the TurboNET board itself, by installing this product.

This product, like most hacking items, requires some knowledge about networking and the TiVo. ALL technical support will be handled on the AVS Underground Forum. Please post all questions on the forum for help.

Product Description

The TurboNET ethernet interface controller allows you to hook your TiVo up to your CAT5 network. This allows the daily programme updates over the LAN to the Internet instead of the telephone, easier hacking, TiVoWEB, etc.

Please note that UK TiVos are currently still on firmware version v2.5.5. A software driver is required to be loaded into the TiVo before the TurboNET card would work.
