What does “Checkout” mean?

Checkout is just like the checkout tills in a supermarket (except money is not debited from your account until we despatch your order). When you are happy with what is in your shopping basket and wish to make a purchase you simply proceed to checkout. On this page you review your personal details, such as delivery address, payment details and the products you want to buy.

Your order is only complete when you click the "Complete Purchase" button at the bottom of the page, and then the 'Confirm' button when asked to confirm your purchase. If you decide not to go ahead with your purchase, you can simply return to the homepage or exit the site and your order will not be processed. We will confirm receipt of your order as quickly as possible by e-mail.

What are the green and red dots next to the “Buy” buttons?

A green dot signifies that the product is in stock whereas a red dot means it is currently out of stock.

The site looks small on my screen, what should I do?

Change your display settings, this site is optimised for 1024 x 768 screen resolution. If you are not sure how to do this, you should consult the documentation for the operating system that you are using. The display, however, will size itself to fit your current screen size.

For Windows 95 or Windows 98 select Start, Settings, Control Panel, Display. Select the Settings tab then set the screen area / desktop size to 1024 x 768. Alternatively, resize your browser window to fit the site's content.

I can't find the product I'm looking for, how do I search on this site?

To search for a product name or description, use the box on the left-hand menu called “Search” to type in the name of any product or information you want to find. There are two option underneath the search box. If the “Title Only” radio button is selected (default), only the product titles are searched. If the “All text” radio button is selected, all product titles and descriptions are searched. The results of any matching products are displayed on the right hand side of the screen.

What if I forget my password?

No problem! Just send us an e-mail stating your user name, name and e-mail address. Once we are happy that you are who you said you are, we will reset the password and e-mail it to the e-mail address on the registration record.

What if I want to change my password?

You can change your password whenever you want - just log in by clicking the “Login” button on the top right of the top menu bar and select “Change my password” from your account page.

What if I need to change my details?

Simply login to the site by clicking the “Login” button on the top right of the top menu bar and click “Update my details” on your account page. Here you can change your address, phone number and email address.

How do I register?

To register, click on “Login” in the top right of the top menu bar and click “New User Click Here to Register”. Here you fill in a few details and create a password. Full instructions are included on the registration page.

Why do I have to register before I buy?

When you register you give us important information such as your address, telephone number and e-mail address. We need this information to advise you of the progress of your order, deliver your product and contact you if we need to. It also allows you to create a password which means you can securely access details of your order on this site and track its progress.
